What I have learnt.

During The lessons we have watched 4,3,2,1. I have learnt that each character is represented in a different way and why they are represented like that. Also they used a lot of close up shots and mid-shots to focus on the characters body language. Moreover I learnt that the music in the film changes its pace to give us a dramatic effect of something bad that’s going to happen.

I should have tried to answer all the questions and develop my answers more by using PEE.
Record of Grade:	I got a E+ as I didn’t analysis the connotation and denotation of an inspiring film and I didn’t explain how the films uses its convention
Targets to improve:	Next time I will analysis the connation and denotation of an inspiring film and not the poster. I will analysis 3 scenes and say how the films uses it conventions

Record of Grade:	I would have given myself D+ because I had good variety of images and explained in detail but I didn’t really talk about its conventions and so I need to have a better understanding of what conventions are by using use/develop and challenge.
Targets to improve:	To label the images neatly and have a better understanding of what conventions are. Place each imaged on different slides and explains its conventions and talk about how old movies inspired our generation.

What I have learnt.

I learnt that if you asked yourself WWW and EBI, you can see what you need to do to improve your presentation and receive a better grade. Also I learnt that you shouldn't tell us what would happen in the whole story in your opening sequence otherwise no one would want to watch your movie since you already told them what happened. More over I learnt that when doing your presentations you should always have clear brief points and lots of images to make it understandable and eye-catching for others to read and also using the PEE strategy would help you develop your answers more to get a better grade.

Assignment 1 - Blog Analysis

I think that Alexa Ranussi blog was succesful because: 

• Alexa blog is very organised and visual.
• She has a lot of information for each step she took.
• Her fonts are readable for the viewers.
• she set dates for when she has completed her work.
• eyecatching.
• A lot of presentation is shown.

  

I think Paul Renzo blog was poor because:

• He use big fonts to make his writing expand more.
• Not enough information is use to expalin clearly what his idea was about.
• not very eyecatching for the viewers (background and font colour very dull)
• doesnt explain a lot of steps he took for the task.
• not enough  presentation show.

The only good thing about his blog is he set the date of when he has finished each task.
